Errand Logix is currently operating in an active beta phase across a limited set of pilot service areas. As we refine our processes, pricing, and platform, the way we collect or handle information may change — any material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this policy.

When you book an errand or delivery, create an account, apply as an Errand Agent, or contact us, we may collect:

• Your name, phone number, WhatsApp number, and email address
• Pickup and destination addresses, and details of the errand or delivery requested
• Account information if you register on our platform, including a verification code sent to your email and WhatsApp number confirmation
• Messages and communication history when you contact us via WhatsApp, email, or our website
• Job application details, for individuals applying to become an Errand Agent

We do not request government-issued ID for either customers or Errand Agent applicants at this time.

4. Payments

Errand Logix does not currently process payments online through our website. Payment for confirmed bookings is arranged by bank transfer, coordinated and approved over WhatsApp with our team. We do not collect or store card numbers, bank account credentials, or other sensitive payment details through our website.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Confirm, price, and assign your errand or delivery request to an available Errand Agent in your service area
• Communicate with you about your booking, including confirmations, updates, and payment coordination via WhatsApp or email
• Verify your account and WhatsApp number when you register
• Review and respond to Errand Agent job applications
• Improve our services, pricing, and service-area coverage during this beta phase
• Respond to questions or complaints you send us

6. WhatsApp & Communication

Much of our booking confirmation and payment coordination happens over WhatsApp. When you message us on WhatsApp, your phone number and message content are handled subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy in addition to this one. Please avoid sending sensitive information (such as full card numbers) over WhatsApp or any other channel.

7. Data Storage & Security

Account and booking data submitted through our website is stored using Supabase, a third-party database and authentication provider. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Sharing Your Information

We share your booking details (such as pickup/destination address and task description) only with the Errand Agent assigned to fulfil your request, and only as needed to complete that request. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Errand Logix, our agents, or our customers.

9. Cookies & Tracking

Our website does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy to describe what is collected and how you can opt out.

10. Data Retention

We retain booking and account information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain accurate records, and meet legal or accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account information at any time, as described below.
